Thanks for checking out my page. I’m a singer/ guitarist/sometimes songwriter who is working toward a successful career as a recording artist. I was born Stormy Montana Hosey on September 20, 1993. Sometimes, I still get ‘the question’ so, I’ll just go ahead and answer it – I’ve always sang as Stormy Montana. I’m not copying the Disney character Miley Cyrus plays at all….That’s really my name. ;) I love to sing, am a pretty good guitarist, and I’ve written a few songs.
I’m really proud of my cd “Someone Like Me” and think you’ll like it, too. It was produced by my good friend, Dave Brainard. I picked 15 songs from my favorite writers; people like James Slater, Dave Pahanish, Kris Bergsnes, Marcel, Marcus Hummon, Casey Kessell, Randy Newnam, Liz Rose, Monty Criswell, and more. These are the some of country’s greatest songwriters. And then, there are the musicians – oh wow, I can’t tell you how much it meant to have people with that level of accomplishment help me by contributing to this effort. It’s like a who’s who of Nashville’s favorites! It’s hard to believe I’ve had the chance to meet and work with these awesome people.
I’m still a work in progress, and there are lots of folks who have helped me get to the place I am now and, I’ll never be able to thank them enough. And then there’s Mom. My mom is a little crazy, which helps a lot. She has allowed, even forced, me to be exposed to all kinds of music in all kinds of places. I call it being “musically abused.”

I perform in a wide variety of places. Maybe, I’ll see you at one of them. I open for concerts, sing in bars, at clubs, fairs, festivals, at church, at the lake, conventions, some competitions (but not many), clubhouses and well…. You get the idea… anywhere they’ll let me.
